SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A popular Sioux City tourist destination is moving closer to opening a new chapel.
The Trinity Heights project broke ground two years ago, with the site cleared. Footings were poured last March.
Trinity Heights sits on a 16-acre plot on the city's north side. Officials with Trinity Heights believe the project will provide a boost to both economic development and tourism in the area.
Officials say extra attention is being given to the chapel's construction, making sure it's part of the community for a very long time.
