WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The pilot of a plane that crashed in Williamsburg Monday afternoon appears to be unharmed, Virginia State Police say.
The single-engine plane crash happened about 5:26 p.m., according to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michelle Anaya. The plane landed upside down in an area overgrown with brush near 213 Lightfoot Road.
The pilot, who was the only occupant, was transported to be evaluated, Anaya stated.
Troopers are still on scene investigating.
