PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Portland Thorns have signed defender Reyna Reyes to a contract extension through the 2030 season, the club announced Monday.
The third-year player has started 55 of her 79 appearances during her tenure with the Thorns.
“This extension speaks volumes for my belief in this club’s future and the club’s belief in me,” Reyes said. “Staying in Portland and performing in front of our devoted fans excites me, as does watching our team develop. I look forward to bringing home a future NWSL Championship and NWLS Shield!”
Reyes was drafted by the Thorns with the fifth overall pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft out of the University of Alabama.
