A 36-year-old man is facing drug-trafficking and probation violation charges after police seized $ 10,500 worth of suspected methamphetamine outside an OPP detachment.
Officers noticed a person outside the Huron County OPP detachment in Clinton actively using an illegal drug on Sept. 2, just after 11 a.m, police said.
After arresting and searching him, officers seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $10,500, police said.
A 36-year-old man, of no fixed address, is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with probation.
The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on Oct. 6.
