Every time Pam Hotham drives past the site of her brother's brutal killing, she is reminded of the pain and lack of justice surrounding his death 10 years later.

On September 20, 2015, Reginald Mullaly was found with multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma to the head under the Denison Bridge in Bathurst, where he had been living.

New South Wales Police has now suspended an investigation into the 68-year-old's apparent murder, pending further information.

Mr Mullaly's sister, Pam Hotham, said it had been "a long 10 years" without justice.

"When I drive past that Denison Bridge it brings back awful memories of what he suffered and went through all alone," she said.
