ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation is taking a deep dive into potential improvements to the Big I. The study will evaluate safety issues and traffic congestion at the interchange in Albuquerque, focusing on the I-40 approach segments to the ramps, and northbound I-25 from the Big I to Comanche.
