ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - First Lady Suzanne Youngkin was in Roanoke today getting to tour the Four Truths Recovery Women & Children’s House.

It’s part of her efforts to learn more about the recovery ecosystem in Roanoke.

“It’s just a beautiful, airy, happy place. I just met some of the women who are living and working here and supporting one another. They’re really sisters here,” said First Lady Suzanne Youngkin.

Four Truths Recovery Executive Director Christine Wright wanted to create a space for women in recovery who feel they have nowhere else to go.

Their newest addition opened in May and aims to give women with or without children a place to grow, thrive and recover in a safe space.
