"Law & Order: SVU" is back for more action this fall, and Capt. Olivia Benson is once again taking names.

The 27th season of the NBC series from Wolf Entertainment premieres Thursday, Sept. 25, at 9 p.m. ET, with new episodes airing Thursday nights and streaming the following day on Peacock.

Fans can also look forward to a new season of "Law & Order" when it debuts on the same night at 8 p.m. ET. The fifth season of the Chris Meloni-led "Law & Order: Organized Crime," which moved from NBC to Peacock after Season 4, will air in the 10 p.m. time slot.

It also seems like Meloni will make a guest appearance in the premiere "SVU" episode, as he was spotted on set in August and is in a new scene with Benson (Mariska H
