CINCINNATI, Ohio — Three games into the 2025 season, the Bengals are having big problems running the ball.

Chase Brown has just 93 yards rushing on 47 carries, which means he’s gaining fewer than two yards per carry. As a team, the Bengals rank last in the NFL in rushing with 147 total yards (49 yards per game).

When confronted with these stark numbers during his Monday press conference, Bengals coach Zac Taylor pointed to a collective breakdown that involves every offensive position group.

“I think as a unit, we got to be better in the running game,” Taylor told reporters. “We have to do a great job identifying the scheme that we’ve got a lot of confidence in to be able to give the running backs opportunity. And our guys need to step up and do a great job with that scheme.”
