The Susquehanna SPCA took in 43 cats Friday, Sept. 19 that following medical treatment, will be looking for new homes.

The cats were taken in from an Otego residence, which SPCA Executive Director Stacie Haynes. She said the property owners initially owned a couple of cats that were not spayed or neutered, creating a situation over the years where “the cats had taken over their home.”
