TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — As the Magic Valley keeps growing, so does the amount of air traffic through the area, and the Magic Valley Regional Airport has plans to accommodate that influx.
Today, the airport held a public open house with the Federal Aviation Administration to inform the public about its proposed project and upcoming environmental assessment.
The project would repair the main runway, relocate a crosswind runway to meet FAA design standards, and improve new taxiways and lighting.
Airport Manager Bill Carberry said they are preparing for an environmental assessment to explore the project’s potential impacts.
