ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Two people have been charged with red snapper resource violations, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

According to an FWC news release, an officer discovered the infractions while he was patrolling and conducting a fisheries resource inspection in Pensacola Bay on Sept. 16.

At that time, he discovered two people in possession of 22 undersize and out-of-season red snapper, and found the two had also exceeded the bag limit.

The two were issued six charges for the violations.
