Perrysburg schools leaders laid out a list of $6 million in cuts, including all athletics and high school busing, that will be implemented if a new operating levy request fails Nov. 4.

At Monday’s meeting, the board of education heard from principals and staff how the proposed cuts would affect their students and buildings if a five-year, 7.8-mill levy is rejected. The property tax will raise $11 million annually, and cost the owner of a $200,000 home $546 a year.

“This will take us very close to state minimums,” said Kadee Anstadt, interim superintendent, said of the cuts.

Susan Rowland Miller, board president, said the list of cuts is not a threat.
