GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- Transportation officials have plans to close a Greenville County bridge in 2026 for repairs.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), the bridge on East Butler Road over I-385 is due for rehabilitation and preservation services.
The plans, officials added, are a part of the agency's Statewide Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program.
After repairs, SCDOT said the repairs will involve removing current load restrictions, increasing safety and extending the bridge's service life.
