GRAND FORKS — UND distance runner Jadyn Keeler was named the NCAA Division I Women's National Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Keeler, a fifth-year senior from Barrie, Ontario, won the 6K crown at the Roy Griak Invitational last Friday. She became the first athlete in UND's Division I history to win an individual title at a Power Four meet.
As a team at the meet, UND placed third for its best finish at the meet in program history. The Fighting Hawks beat all of the Summit League schools at the meet including North Dakota State, South Dakota State, South Dakota and St. Thomas.
