New police body-worn camera footage shows a Miami International Airport cargo handler getting arrested after a $1.2 million heist of Samsung cellphones.

Eduardo Miguel Rivera-Paz, 37, was arrested in March 2023 on multiple grand theft charges. His case has been closed since he accepted a pre-trial diversion program.

According to investigators, the Samsung phones had arrived at DHL and were heading to Bogota, Colombia, but never made it. Corporate security from DHL Express reported the theft.

Surveillance video shows Rivera-Paz, who worked at ground cargo handling company Worldwide Flight Services, taking photos and videos of the boxes of phones.
