PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - A fake license plate led deputies to the discovery of drugs and weapons, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

PCSO said deputies saw a 2001 Chevy 2500 parked at a Dollar General at 31001 U.S. Highway East with a temporary registration that did not match the vehicle.

Deputies said they contacted a woman in the passenger seat and learned she had two outstanding warrants. The woman, 30-year-old Tamara Rodriguez, was being taken into custody when PCSO said deputies discovered nearly 8.5 grams of meth during a pat down.

Deputies said they also found assorted drug paraphernalia and a loaded handgun in Rodriguez’s backpack.
