GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - After the Trump administration promoted a link between pregnant women’s use of Tylenol and an increased risk of the child developing autism, WITN wanted to hear from people in Eastern Carolina about the president’s announcement.

Robyn Donaghy says she would use Tylenol to relieve headaches and pain during her two pregnancies.

“That was my only option given to me by my doctors, to use Tylenol,” Donaghy said.

The Trump administration is now saying that pregnant women’s use of acetaminophen is a big factor in increasing the risk of autism.
