GLENDALE, Ariz. — Thousands of people came to Glendale to attend a memorial service at State Farm Stadium for conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

For an event of that size, there's a lot to consider: Security, event staff, the technology used to host multiple hours of speakers, traffic control, and cleanup, just to name a few.

But after the event is finished and the grounds are cleaned up, roads slowly begin to open up, and the area around the stadium returns to normal operation, the question remains: who paid for it?

The Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority confirmed with 12News that cleanup on the property was factored into the event's cost, which was paid for and rented by Turning Point USA.
