BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — A substitute bus driver in Bartow County is accused of drinking wine from a Stanley cup while driving nearly 30 children home from school.

The driver, identified as 51-year-old Lori Hagaman, was arrested Friday afternoon.

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office said Hagaman was pulled over on Burnt Hickory Connector after deputies received reports of her swerving, missing stops, and nearly hitting other vehicles.

According to deputies, she smelled strongly of alcohol, had slurred speech, red and watery eyes, and struggled to walk down the bus stairs.
