NORTH MANKATO, Minn. — A 12-year-old girl has died three days after being pulled from a house fire Friday morning in North Mankato.

The North Mankato Fire Department said Autumn Paulson died Monday from the injuries sustained in last week's fire. According to a release, officials were called to a home on the 500 block of Lyndale Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. Friday, on a report of a burning home with people still inside.

Officers with the North Memorial Police Department were able to help evacuate four occupants without injuries, while fire crews helped get a woman and her daughter out of the burning structure. The daughter, later identified as Autumn, was flown to HCMC, where she died. Autumn's mother was also hospitalized, and has since been released.
