Maryland State Police arrested two men and one woman in connection with a series of copper wire theft across Cecil County.
Stacey Tulley, 44, Brian Tulley, 55. and David Fenstermaker, 62, were charged with felony theft, multiple misdemeanor thefts and malicious destruction of property.
Police investigated three separate incidents that linked the suspects to copper wire being cut from active Verizon power poles. Investigators said this caused widespread disruptions to the county’s communication services.
The estimated total loss and damage is worth more than $66,000, according to police.
