A groundbreaking took place on Monday, Sep. 22, for South Bend’s homeless Intake Center. It’s a 25,000-square-foot, permanent low-barrier shelter at 4022 Old Cleveland Road, marking a step in the effort to end chronic homelessness in South Bend.
