LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A person of interest was detained by Las Vegas Metro police after two people were found shot in the central Las Vegas valley.
It happened on Monday, around 6:30 p.m. in the area of St. Louis Avenue and Santa Paula Drive near Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.
Officers responded to the area following reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two adults with gunshot wounds. One of the two people shot had minor injuries and remained at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital, police told 8 News Now.
