Cyclists have been cautioned over new rules set to become law that could see them risk facing harsh penalties. According to the GOV.UK website , as part of the Crime and Policing Bill, authorities are taking road safety more seriously for all users by making changes.
These fresh powers are intended to enable the government to enhance street safety for pedestrians "by introducing new cycling offences to tackle those rare instances where victims have been killed or seriously injured by irresponsible cyclist behaviour."
