The family of a student who tragically died from an asthma attack after collapsing in a nightclub have called on university students to treat the condition with the seriousness it deserves.
Zoe Nunn, 20, was pursuing her studies in politics at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge when she became unwell due to asthma and experienced a cardiac arrest.
As a youngster, she had been hospitalised for asthma, but had not suffered an attack for a considerable time and did not have her blue reliever inhaler with her.
Her mother Louise Nunn, 49, father Mark, 52, and sister Lily, 27, are now collaborating with Asthma + Lung UK to emphasise to students about to start university the importance of always having their inhalers on hand if they suffer from asthma.
