The Avalahalli police on Sunday arrested a 44-year-old Head Constable and his friend Autorickshaw driver on the charges of robbing a woman .

The accused Jagadisha an autorickshaw driver had assaulted his female friend and robbed her gold chain over a financial row.

The robbed gold chain he gave it to his friend Satyan , head constable with DJ Halli police station limits.Satyan pawned the gold chain and shared the money with Jagadisha.

Meanwhile the victim approached the police and filed a complaint.

Based on the complainant,the police arrested Jagadisha and later Satyan and recovered the pawned gold chain.

The duo has been renamed to judicial custody and a report has been sent to DCP East Division for further action .
