Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after a car crashed into a tree. Emergency services were called to a crash on The Green in Rampton at around 5pm on Saturday (September 20).
A car had crashed into a tree. Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue firefighters had to remove two people from the car.
The two people were then left in the care of ambulance crews. They were then taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
A fire spokesperson said: “At 5.02pm on Saturday, crews from Cambridge were called to a road traffic collision on The Green in Rampton. Firefighters arrived to find a car had collided with a tree.
“Using Specialist equipment they released two casualties who were left in the care of ambulance crews. The crews returned to their station by 7pm.”
