Stickley Family Farms in Colon is offering a unique experience this fall with its Mini Michigan Central Railroad, a rare pre-World War II miniature train.

The train, built by the Miniature Train Company, has been fully restored and now makes a quarter-mile loop through the farm’s woods and fields, according to a community announcement. It can carry both children and adults, allowing families to enjoy the ride together.

A nod to history

The Michigan Central Railroad once ran along the back edge of the property, connecting family farms in St. Joseph County to markets in Detroit and Chicago.
