Bhubaneswar: Dharma Productions, helmed by Karan Johar, is in the process of acquiring the remake rights of Odia film Bou Buttu Bhuta, starring Babushaan Mohanty, Archita Sahu, and Aparajita Mohanty.

The company has officially announced negotiations to purchase the remake rights through a public notice in Komal Nahta’s Film Information magazine by its Chief Legal Officer Rakhee Bajpai Tiwari. The acquisition includes all Indian and world languages as well as derivative rights. This will allow Dharma Productions to develop, produce, distribute, and exploit remakes across multiple media and platforms.
