Jeeter, a DreamFields brand, is in plans to establish a cannabis packaging plant in Middletown. The move marks the company’s expansion into New York after establishing footholds in California, Arizona, Michigan, Massachusetts and Canada.

On Sep. 3, the City of Middletown Planning Board issued a notice of intent to serve as the lead agency for the operation, which will be housed in a currently out-of-use building at 55 Midland Ave. Extension in an industrial area of the city.
