Ryanair has announced new flights for winter getaways from Edinburgh.

The journeys will take passengers from the capital to the Polish city of Rzeszow, known for its transformation into a picturesque winter town over the festive period. Ryanair say the flights provide Scottish customers with 'more choice and regular connections'.

Rzeszow Christmas Market runs from late November to early January, and features a range of stalls with handmade gifts, a variety of food, and Polish specialties. There's also music and entertainment on offer, and decorations around the town.

On the website Rzeszowskie Piwnice, they say the town transforms into a 'picturesque spot' during winter.
