Ruben Amorim's future will be decided by Manchester United's expectations rather than his side's progression.
That is according to talkSPORT's Danny Murphy , who does not expect the Portuguese to reach the end of his Red Devils deal.
Amorim remains under pressure in the Old Trafford hot seat after a difficult first 10 months in charge.
Despite a hard-fought victory over Chelsea on Saturday, he has just nine league wins to his name since replacing Erik ten Hag in November.
Murphy is doubtful the 2-1 win can inspire Amorim's side to put a run of results together in the coming weeks.
The former Liverpool midfielder told White & Jordan: "They haven’t shown any signs that they’re going to when they’ve had good performances or good wins before to then go on a run. They haven’t done it.
