Some parts of England could be set for a major boost in temperature after the current cold air comes to a close.

From October 2, WXCharts has forecast temperatures between 14C and 22C in the South East of England.

The average temperature for the first week of October is 10C, making this significantly higher than expected.

Moving into the weekend following next Thursday, further north of England, including Yorkshire and the Midlands, could reach as high as 21C.

As for the north of England, and Scotland, temperatures range between 14C and 19C.

While this all sounds promising, the Met Office is less certain about the heat next weekend in their long range forecast for September 27 until October 6.
