A new games cafe is set to open at the Utilita Arena Birmingham , replacing piano bar Mooncat.

Game Guru has said that it is 'coming soon' at the canalside spot, promising a library of board games and collectables alongside its food and drink offering.

Mooncat opened early in 2024, serving Japanese food and cocktails to a soundtrack of live music.

Now the menu will feature artisan coffee, comfort food and cocktails according to Game Guru.

Expert staff will be on hand for players, with options including Pokemon and other trading card games judging by photos on the Game Guru social media pages.
