A former postmistress has been given the go-ahead to transform her old branch.
The post office in Main Road, Meriden, near Solihull, closed last year after being run by postmistress Susan Harper for decades.
The site has also been home to Top Set hairdressers but a planning application was lodged with Solihull Council planners to make major changes at the site.

Ms Harper applied to convert the property into two residential homes.
