NEW DELHI: Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar has said that the pothole issue is widespread across the country, including the national capital New Delhi and that projecting it as a problem unique to Karnataka is misleading. Speaking on Tuesday, Shivakumar, who also oversees Bengaluru’s development, said the government has a responsibility to fix the problem and is actively working on it. “We are filling potholes, despite rain, we are doing it. Work is on daily to fill about a thousand potholes in each corporation (5 corporations in Bengaluru),” he told reporters before leaving for Bihar.
