People who live on Elmdale Avenue in north London are mounting a campaign to stop redevelopment of a lot where a family home used to be into a 32-bedroom build. “We oppose the intensity of this development, it will change the neighbourhood,” one resident says. What does the developer plan to build?

Lukas Janic, who owns 545 and 547 Elmdale Rd. in a subdivision north of the Stoney Creek off-leash dog park on Adelaide Street, plans to build two fourplexes on a large lot where a single family home previously stood. The lot has been severed.

Each of the four units will have four bedrooms for total of 32 bedrooms between both buildings.
