Katelyn Peterson once worked as a salesperson, but it never truly ignited her passion. Her real love was writing, especially when it involved helping people “put their heart into words.” To focus on her passion, she quit her job, and at 37, she now earns Rs 7 lakh per month by writing wedding vows.
“I got into this business to help people put their heart into words,” Peterson, founder and CEO of Wedding Words, told CNBC Make It during an interview.
Since launching Wedding Words eight years ago, Peterson has crafted over 700 speeches for brides , grooms, family members, and bridal party guests. Her writing process involves video calls to capture each client’s unique story, followed by revisions and coaching on delivery.
