New Delhi: Many people associate heart issues with chest pain or shortness of breath, but cardiologist Dr. Sanjay Bhojraj warns that the most overlooked early symptom is persistent fatigue that no lifestyle change seems to fix.

In an Instagram post, he explained, “I’ve seen patients push through months of exhaustion—blaming stress, poor sleep, or getting older. Fatigue is often a clue that the heart isn’t pumping efficiently or circulation is impaired” (Business Insider, Instagram).

Dr. Bhojraj emphasizes that ignoring this type of fatigue is ignoring the body’s most basic warning system. With proper testing, clinicians can differentiate between normal tiredness and cardiovascular red flags. Early intervention, he notes, can restore energy that patients thought was gone for good.
