BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has confirmed an investigation is underway involving the Texas A&M Kappa Sigma fraternity organization.

The alleged hazing incident occurred earlier this month at the organization’s lodge on North Dowling Road in Brazos County.

According to deputies, on September 14, prospective new members of the fraternity were instructed to attend an event at the off-campus fraternity property on N Dowling Road in Brazos County.

The current members brought the pledges to a secluded area where they were told to engage in physical activity until exhaustion. At least one participant later sought medical treatment for injuries sustained during the event.
