SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Norton police are warning residents about a new scam involving bogus e-mails and invoices being sent to residents.

The invoices are requesting payment for “application review and approval fees.”

North police said always verify directly with the City of Norton Planning and Zoning Department before making any payments or sharing financial information.
