Up to 600 new homes could be built in a Cambridgeshire town. Bloor Homes Ltd has submitted plans to Huntingdonshire District Council to build the homes on land next to St Neots reservoir in Priory Hill Road.

Of the homes up to 240 will be affordable, which equates to around 40 percent of the buildings. The developers said the development will “create a gateway development to the north of St Neots” and “create a contemporary edge” to the existing area.

The developers added that the plans have been designed to “establish a distinctive, vibrant neighbourhood that fosters a strong sense of place, community interaction and sustainable living”.
