A court hearing for an MSP charged with voyeurism and possession of indecent images of children has been postponed .

Colin Smyth was set to appear at Dumfries sheriff court on September 24, but the Crown Office has now said the hearing will not take place on this date .

The South Scotland MSP was elected on a Labour ticket in 2016 but was suspended by the party after he was charged.

He is also a former general secretary of Scottish Labour.

He has denied the allegations.
