With the 2025-26 high school sports season ongoing, the El Paso Times will give readers a chance to vote to identify El Paso's top athletes.

This week, readers can vote for which El Paso Times ' El Paso Children's Hospital high school athlete had the best performance in volleyball, cross country and football.

Here are this week's nominees:

West Stansbury, Coronado football. Stansbury helped lead the Thunderbirds to first win of season with 261 yards passing and three touchdown passes.

Derik Messer, Eastwood football . Messer made five field goals in win vs. El Dorado from 25 yards, 29 yards, 37 yards, 43 yards and 45 yards.

Andrew Robles, Hanks football. In victory vs Horizon, he had 13 tackles and five tackles for loss.
