The Met Office has addressed how Hurricane Gabrielle will impact weather forecasts in the UK from Friday.
It has recently been upgraded to a category three hurricane and is currently far out into the Atlantic Ocean.
120mph wind speeds have been recorded, causing swells to reach as far as Bermuda just yesterday.
The vast impact of the hurricane will be felt in the UK from Friday, according to the Met Office, with experts saying we will see a "continuation of the settled weather of the previous few days into Friday for most".
From Friday to Sunday, October 5, the weather will be "dry for the vast majority, with light winds and sunny spells by day; overnight there will be a risk of mist or isolated fog patches.
