Sunday morning’s rainfall was indeed refreshing and settled the dust and cleared the air exactly as we were hoping. Vancouver officially tallied .31 of an inch and rainfall amounts around the county ranged from a quarter of an inch to one-half inch. A nice soaking, I think. Still, down a couple of inches the ground is still dry and drier yet under the forest canopy.

I don’t foresee much in the way of rain this week although computer forecast models are battling it out whether we will see rain again by the weekend. Seems this rain on weekends is becoming routine. Still time to digest the final details.

Meanwhile easterly winds today help soar our afternoon temperatures well into the 80s. Could we have a 90-degree reading somewhere? Perhaps, but I think the official weather station will be
