HARTFORD, Conn. — There's a new millionaire in Connecticut; a Powerball ticket sold in the state for Monday's drawing won $1 million.
The numbers to match are 3-29-42-46-59 and the Power Ball 15, with X3 Power Play.
One ticket matched all five numbers, winning $1 million. Had the player opted to play with Power Play, the prize would have been $2 million.
One ticket matched four numbers, winning $100. Had they used Power Play, the prize would have tripled to $300.
No one in the nation won the jackpot, but a ticket in Pennsylvania won the $2 million for matching all five numbers and playing with Power Play.
A total of 4,300 winning tickets were sold in Connecticut for Monday's Powerball drawing.
The next drawing is Wednesday, Sept. 24, and the jackpot rises to an estimated $127 million
