DES MOINES, Iowa —
Storms pushed in from northern Iowa Monday evening and into southern Iowa overnight. The strongest storms were mainly found over the northern half of the state. They did weaken in intensity as the night went on, but still added up to some decent rainfall totals.
Most of the state stayed below an inch, but there were some select areas that managed to come close and even exceed 1". Here are some 24-hour totals as of 7 a.m. Tuesday morning:
