Eviction proceedings have been initiated against Benefit Business House in Lower Parel for illegally constructing additional structures in violation of the Floor Area Index (FSI) regulations set by the Brihan mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The G South Division of the Municipal Corporation carried out this operation, during which one unauthorised construction at Unit No. 1C was demolished between September 16 and 19. Demolition is still underway at Units No. 3A, 4A, 3C, and 4C.

This action is part of a wider campaign against unauthorised constructions in Mumbai, as directed by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani, and under the guidance of Additional Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Joshi.
